I reviewed my collar here shortly after I got it, but wanted to post an update. Late December 2020 marked 10 years of constant daily wear of my 1/4 Stealth Collar from Ring of Steel (not counting when I had to remove it for cleaning, childbirth, and medical procedures) and it is still beautiful and holding strong. I can honestly say that I have little doubt that I will be able to wear it for another decade, if not the rest of my life, and it's strength and beauty will not diminish regardless of the passage of time. Though I was beyond happy with my collar, every so often I would check in on the Ring of Steel website to see the new creations and see how the business itself was doing. This was the case this morning, which led me to the discovery that Ibi had passed on and that Ring of Steel wouldn't be continued. Even though I do not personally know either Vad or Ibi, I am incredibly saddened by the news. I remember my collar not only being so beautifully made by Vad, but also beautifully wrapped and packaged by Ibi. I could genuinely feel the love, care, and pride that went into both the collar and the wrapping, and it made me even happier that my collar came from here. Whenever I'm asked about my "necklace" by those who aren't in the know, I still tell them about how it was made by "a very talented blacksmith in Arizona who ran his business with his beloved wife". I am proud to have my collar from Ring of Steel, and I will never forget the two of you for as long as I live. My heart goes out to you, Vad: I'm deeply sorry for the loss of Ibi and I wish you nothing but the absolute best. With much love, Persephone Nightmare   Added: March 27, 2021

Let me start by saying Vad and Ibi are awesome people to deal with... You could not ask for better communication and customer service... We first ordered the 3/8 collar the workmanship of this collar is better then any others you will find... No big gaps,pinch points or unsightly hinge and closure areas... we were so happy with our first purchase that we ordered a set of 3/8 wrist cuffs and a set of 3/8 ankle cuffs... we spent days looking for a well made collar... I will not settle for it looks ok... After finding ring of steel our search was over... i can not say enough good things about ring of steel... Products hand made with precision like no other and great customer service are extremely hard to find these days and they have it mastered... I personally gaurentee you will not find better collars and cuffs anywhere... however i will not say i give them 5 stars because it would be an insult they are in a class of their own... I am so amazed and impressed by Ringofsteel. I emailed them roughly around January 2020. I sent a specific image and request to them asking if they could custom make my collar, a collar that we could find elsewhere but In a size that didn't fit me. I'd messaged dozens of steelworkers and such, and most gave short emails back. Nope can't do that. Sorry. That was the standard reply. Ring of steel? They responded with URLs trying to help me find the collar! URLs to places they would get ZERO profit from. The honesty respect and compassion I was met with just in email swayed me to look again through their website at the collars they make. I quickly realized the stealth collar with the new o ring attachment wasn't much different than what I'd been asking for. So I asked Master if we could just order from them instead because they were so nice. A couple months later after our relationship was in place Master had me place an order through email, since we live locally and could just go pick it up. Everything was professional, kind, generous, beautiful. I'm just speechless by the whole process. Recommended 10000 times over. I will recommend ringofsteel to lifestyle friends everywhere!! The craftsmanship is flawless. I tried to make my skin snag on the seams, your expect some pinch or snag, unavoidable right? No pinch, even with me actively trying.the shine... I had a cheaper collar from a un-named company.... while that collar was not horrible iwas looking for something better, so i contacted vad, he quickly responded confirming the size i was looking at was correct.I ordered a week later and the collar arived 2 days later (surprisingly fast).I could have even ordered a size smaller (bad is right, when in doubt its probaly the smaller size you want if you measuredright), but am very happy withthe fit compaired to the older one. The thickness was heftier and heavier then expected, which i feel is a good thing (but be mindful). Very happy with the purchase, if you have any doubt, let it go, he may be more mony but the quality it through the roof and well worth it   Added: March 28, 2020
